In the wake of the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank and First Republic, founders and investors were reevaluating their financial partners. J.P. Morgan had deep expertise and a comprehensive offering for startups, but many founders still believed the bank was simply too big for early-stage companies. The challenge: turn the bank's size from a perceived barrier into an advantage.
The same way that founders are obsessed with their product, J.P. Morgan is obsessed with supporting the success of their business. We positioned the bank as an expedition guide for the startup journey, reframing its scale from size to reach, from scale to scalability, from bankers to builders. Whatever the next stage demanded, from early funding through IPO, J.P. Morgan had navigated it before.
The Bank of the Innovation Economy. Real founder stories, Gamma AI and Gridware in 2024, Midi Health and Montera Therapeutics in 2025, put founders in the room with someone who had been exactly where they were. The work ran everywhere founders live and work: online video and social for the scroll, LinkedIn and display for the moments between meetings, out-of-home and transit woven into the corridors of Silicon Valley and San Francisco.
